The old Port of Subs, located on the NE corner of Scottsdale and 2nd (next to Furio), was knocked down to make room for the new RNR Restaurant.
Just approved for their Series 12 Liquor License, this new spot is being built by former Scottsdale club owners. We are not sure what sort of atmosphere or demodraphic RNR is going for, but situated next to Furio we expect a low-key lounge.
Throw in Furio's current construction of an outdoor patio (hence the recent closure), we have a feeling these two are working together to create a fun new corner in Old Town, Scottsdale.

ReverseHappyHour.com scoped out Scottsdale's newest bars to give you a sneak peak of what's to come.
Probably the most anticipated new Scottsdale bar is Revolver. Taking over the space that used to be SIX, Revolver knocked down the walls, leveled out the floors and opended the entire space up.

The main bar is still located to the left of the front entrance with the VIP area against the far wall.

Whisper Loungehad their soft openinglast night for friends and family, and ReverseHappyHour.com was there! We took a lot of pics but we don't want to spoil the surprise, so you can see a couple here in our photo gallery.
All in all it was a successful night, free booze and h'orderves, good musicandthe entire place was open to explore.
In our opinion, Whisper Lounge has a sort of cozy lounge feeling to it - red walls, wood accents, paintings on the walls, a stuffed cougar (maybe to let you know what type of clientele they prefer!) and dim lighting. All they needis a fireplace.
The outdoor patio was missingfurniture (hence the lack of photos) but the bar was open.
You can tell they spent a lot of time and money on the design and we wish them luck. They will be open to the public this Thursday.
