Maybe its the stress caused by hanging out with relatives or the fact that no one has to be at work in the morning, but Thanksgiving Eve, also known as Black Wednesday, is one of the busiest drinking nights of the year.
So where will you be celebrating this great American holiday tradition? Let’s review the options:
American Junkie is advertising a Thanksgiving Eve promotion including giveaways by “Guess by Marciano” but no drink specials to back it… hmmm. Eitherway they are going to be packed. That whole “being able to see and here the person your talking to” vibe they got going on is really catching on. Who would have thought?
Iconic Entertainment is hosting Thanksgiving Eve at Red Bar with DJ Roctakon and DJ Skam Artist. If you’re a hip-hop music fanatic this is your best bet.
If rock n’ roll is more of your style, Martini Ranch has 4 live bands including the Phunk Junkeez performing live all night.
You can play beer pong at Acme while listening to Jim from Authority Zero spin live.
Six Lounge is having their second annual Pre Thanksgiving Day Blowout featuring $4 vodka drinks and DJ Masta Monk. Its Durkee’s promotion, and that’s usually enough to get a place packed.
The Lodge, Old Town’s newest addition is having its pre-opening tomorrow night as well. So if your friends and family, definitely check it out. We’ll talk more about The Lodge tomorrow when we get some pics.
Mill Avenue is a gamble. With most of ASU home for Thanksgiving, it could be make or break. There’s no specific specials to mention, but I’m sure Mill Cue Club, Zuma and Whi Lounge will be the hot spots.
Drive safe, you know the police will be out too!
