Have you driven down 6th Avenue past Dirty Pretty recently? Wondering what that new building across street is? Yeah, the one with the sick, 2nd story patio on the corner of Civic Center Plaza.
Wonder no more! Whisper Lounge is Scottsdale's newest bar opening late this summer. At this point in time there aren't much details on the theme or decor, however, we at Reverse Happy Hour did manage to get our hands on the official Scottsdale Whisper Lounge project narrative.
There really isn't much information in there; unless you know how to read architectural floor plans, which in that case you will learn a whole lot.
One thing Reverse Happy Hour has heard is that Whisper Lounge is going to bring something to Old Town, Scottsdale that is has not seen - an upscale, true to its name, lounge. Think Merc Bar of Phoenix or Pure Sushi, without the sushi of course, and hopefully more color!
Although there are a lot of beautiful, upscale bars and clubs in Scottsdale, they all have loud music in common: Cream Stereo Lounge, Devils Martini, etc. Which, by its nature, takes them out of the "lounge" category that Whisper Lounge may be able to capitalize on.
It is impossible to tell how a new bar will do, so as always, Reverse Happy Hour wishes Whisper Lounge the best of luck and we will be sure to provide more information as we obtain it.
